Tuesday Evening Bible Study on Romans

The Tuesday Evening Bible Study at the Manse is beginning a new series of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. The first meeting is this Tuesday, March 4, at 7:15 pm. We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month and encourage you to join us as often as you can (feel free to come once, every week, or now and then). Please email Dr. Janklow at apj@mapc.com to receive specific email updates as to the meeting schedule in the event something changes one week. Please email Aaron if you will be coming this Tuesday.

James Edwards, biblical scholar, states, "The epistle to the Romans is the most commanding exposition of the gospel of salvation by grace through faith ever written. It stands first among NT epistles (which are arranged in order of decreasing length) because it is the longest of Paul's epistles and also because it is the most complete development of his gospel. Throughout two millennia of history, Romans repeatedly proved to be a catalyst for reform and renewal of Christian faith and life" (Introduction to Romans found in the New Interpreters Study Bible, 2003). This study will carefully and thoughtfully go through Paul's epistle, discussing its context and theological themes, and practical applications to our faith. Paul challenges and inspires, and we encourage all to join regardless of your familiarity with the Bible. Dr. Janklow is teaching and we hope you will join us. Please rsvp to Aaron at apj@mapc.com.
