Singing at MAPC

Are you interested in singing with the Church Choir, or our choral society, the Saint Andrew Chorale? The Church Choir sings anthems and provides musical leadership for our Sunday worship services and special liturgies at Christmas and during Holy Week from September through May. The Saint Andrew Chorale sings three concerts as a part of the Saint Andrew Music Society concert season, joined by orchestras and accompanied by professional instrumentalists.

Racial Justice Task Force Movie Night

The next RJTF movie night is Wednesday, June 26. We’ll gather in the Parish Hall for dinner at 6:30, and at 7 we will begin showing the final episode in Ava DuVernay’s four-part documentary, “When They See Us” about the five men, teenagers at the time, wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for the brutal attack on a woman in Central Park.

Summer Borrowing from the Hood Library

The Hood Library will close for the summer after Sunday, June 30. Our policy has long been to allow books borrowed during June to be borrowed for the entire summer. This year the due date for summer books, as always, will be the first Sunday after Labor Day - this year September 8.
